Witness Testimony

Angela Taylor, a Licensed Practical Nurse working in long-term care for over seven years, testified about the effects of COVID-19 lockdowns and vaccination rollout in her facility. She described significant emotional decline among residents due to visitation restrictions and isolation, including increased confusion, loss of will to live, and behavioral deterioration. She further alleged that following vaccination clinics, multiple residents experienced elevated heart rates, blood pressure changes, strokes, and accelerated progression of pre-existing conditions such as dementia and Parkinson’s disease. She stated that no physicians were present during vaccine administration and expressed concerns regarding informed consent and reporting of adverse events.
Taylor testified that vaccination later became mandatory for staff. After unsuccessful attempts to obtain medical and religious exemptions, she received a single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine in order to retain her employment. She reported developing heart-related symptoms weeks later, including chest discomfort and elevated D-dimer levels consistent with a blood clot. She stated that subsequent medical evaluations did not confirm a diagnosis or formally recognize her condition as vaccine-related and that she continues to experience ongoing fatigue and related symptoms.
She also described broader impacts on her family, including withdrawal of her children from public school due to vaccine policies, her daughter’s withdrawal from university over mandate requirements, limitations on wedding attendance, and her mother-in-law’s hospitalization and death following COVID-related illness. Taylor recounted efforts to raise concerns with elected officials and provincial representatives, stating that she felt her concerns were dismissed. She concluded that lockdown measures and vaccine mandates caused significant harm to residents, families, and healthcare workers in her community.
