Witness Testimony

Dr. Mark Trozzi testified that as a 27-year emergency physician and trauma team leader, he was directly involved in early COVID patient care and initially supported precautionary public health measures. Over time, he stated that hospital protocols emphasized isolation, oxygen escalation, and intubation while discouraging or prohibiting early outpatient treatment strategies. He testified that emerging evidence supporting repurposed medications was dismissed and that physicians who questioned official guidance were marginalized. He described concerns regarding reliance on PCR testing thresholds and shifting definitions of COVID-related hospitalization.
Trozzi testified that following vaccine rollout he began observing adverse events including myocarditis, neurological complications, and unexpected clinical deterioration in patients. He stated that informed consent standards were not upheld, particularly regarding long-term safety data and alternative treatment options. He argued that natural immunity evidence was minimized and that public messaging overstated vaccine efficacy in preventing transmission and severe disease.
He further testified that after speaking publicly about these concerns, he faced investigation and professional consequences from regulatory authorities. He described this as retaliation for fulfilling his ethical duty to advocate for patient safety and transparent scientific debate. Trozzi concluded that open discourse among physicians was suppressed during the pandemic, undermining both clinical integrity and public trust in medicine.
